From leadership coaching to captivating keynote presentations, Anthony has inspired leaders and teachers throughout the United States (and a couple foreign countries, too.) Now school leaders can take the lessons from his new book, Leading with Head and Heart: A Practical Guide to Elevate the School of Today – and Tomorrow and apply them into their daily leadership.
Regardless of where you lead - building, department or central office - Anthony has created a companion to his book that will allow you to reflect, consider, share and learn new ways of leading. Throughout the 8 module course (one for each chapter) leaders will be given three different ways to further inform their leadership:
- A thought provoking blog that builds on the chapter read
- A brief leadership video that brings to life the diverse set of 12 leaders highlighted in the book
- Suggested activities to try and then share successes or failures that arose from the effort
In all three sections of each module there is not only an opportunity to share comments, questions and understandings, but an expectation that participants post and/or reply to what has been shared, creating an asynchronous leadership learning environment.
Cost of the course is just $125 with discounts offered to district or association teams and participants of Anthony's live or virtual events.
The Blog
A three-to-five minute read with graphics to match and reflection questions that follow. Anthony uses stories, wonderings and client experiences to emphasize the five take aways that end each chapter of the book.
Leadership Videos
Learn from the leaders that have shared their stories of growth, change and achievement in Leading with Head and Heart. Following a 10-20 minute video, on-line book study participants are posed reflection questions or prompts, so they can share their thinking with their colleagues.
Activities to Connect Learning to Practice
Finally, several suggested activities are offered to extend and connect what has been learned on the page to real life leadership practice.
